December 2006. We were facing a problem. A big financial problem because we needed a big amount of money--P100,000. We didn't have any idea where to get the amount from. We tried to loan from some people but they just couldn't produce such big amount in so short a time.
We prayed…hard! Then God led me to a friend. I was hesitant at first because I was not used to borrowing money, especially this big amount. Moreover, I was afraid I might get hurt if she reacts negatively. However, left with no choice, I sent her a text message.
I was teary-eyed when I read her response. She did not only offer to loan us the amount we needed but she also would not charge us any interest.
I thank God for the answer. Indeed, He still makes miracles.
I also thank Him for giving me friends who are friends in the real sense of the word--ones who are always ready to help take me out of the pit of problems and needs and stay close by to lend a helping hand as many times as I need them.
